For the first time in the UAE, Corina Reynolds – Director and Co-Founder of Small Editions (New York) – leads a 3-hour introductory bookbinding workshop. Participants will fold accordion books and explore sewn pamphlets with paper covers, walking away with three books and a simple instruction manual for replicating the techniques learnt. Small Editions is an artist book studio that publishes and supports the creation of new contemporary artists books. Corina Reynolds has led classes in independent book publishing, zine making and bookbinding. She has curated exhibitions and talks on contemporary artist books and serves as Vice Chair at The Center for Book Arts, NYC. Corina holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BFA from San Diego State University.
