In this short, hands-on activation, participants will explore the basics of drypoint etching by scratching their designs onto a plate surface. Using simple tools, they will create lines and textures that will hold ink and transfer onto paper.
With guidance, participants will ink their plates and produce their own prints, discovering the unique qualities of line and mark-making. This one-hour session offers a quick and engaging introduction to printmaking, resulting in a small edition of expressive prints.
