Afterschool Arts Club: Cardboard Creatures

This season, we are back to welcoming young artists and makers at our studios again. Following COVID safety guidelines, the Afterschool Arts Club will foster creative practices in young artists by providing tutorials in a variety of arts and design skills. Every workshop will have a different outcome, ranging from handmade planters to pop-up cards and home models.

Cardboard is a versatile, environmentally-friendly material that can be shaped into many different forms, including our own imaginary creatures! In this workshop, participants will be encouraged to explore the depths of their imagination and sculpt their creatures using cardboard. The sculptural activity will involve experimenting with shapes, forms and colours, and open the projects to happy accidents and quirky results.
