Invited by Art Rua Festival, the murals I created in Rio were inspired by a poem from Gabriela Torres Barbosa, a Brazilian poet from the favelas. I could not leave Rio without leaving my own mark on the favela. Inside the Vidigal favela, I was looking for a wall and found this great rooftop on the top of the hill. I climbed it, painted it without asking anyone and discovered two days later that it was a school that the artist Vik Muniz was building.
