Water, Gas, Electricity, Rent: A reading group

Dubai artist Lantian Xie leads a reading group about hospitality, occupancy, homeliness, precarity, exception, and temporariness. Each session will take place inside a hotel somewhere in Dubai, the location of which will be disclosed to participants upon sign-up.
Sessions occur seminar-style with emphasis on conversation and discussion around materials assigned before each meeting. Materials to be covered include science fiction, critical theory, film, and popular music.
All sessions are free to attend. Sessions will take place from 3PM - 6PM on:

- 20th January 2018
- 3rd February 2018
- 17th February 2018
Seats are extremely limited and offered on a sign-up basis. Participants are expected to commit to attending all sessions.
