Wael Morcos
Wael Morcos is a Beirut-born designer and typographer whose work explores the cultural and political histories embedded within typography and graphic design. After earning his BFA in Graphic Design from Notre Dame University–Louaize in Lebanon, he completed his MFA at the Rhode Island School of Design and is now based in Brooklyn, New York.
Morcos is known for his contributions to contemporary Arabic typography, developing modern typefaces that translate centuries of calligraphic traditions into digital form. As co-founder of the design studio Morcos Key, his work spans typography, branding, and global visual campaigns, while engaging with cultural initiatives that amplify Arab and Muslim creative voices.
