Studio Kawakeb

Studio Kawakeb is a visual arts studio based in Beirut, Lebanon and incubated by Beit Waraq. We specialize in illustration, animation and graphic design. The studio was founded in 2015 with the aim of pushing creative boundaries to contribute to a local and regional visual exploration that is then implemented in projects. We work closely with our collaborators to produce outputs that are process- driven and contextually relevant. We also initiate our own projects that are lead by specific points of visual and theoretical research that we would like to delve into. Having acquired a set of skills in the practice of animation, illustration and graphic design, Studio Kawakeb is also commissioned to give specialized workshops in the region.
