Sarah Al Mehairi
Sarah Al Mehairi is a practicing artist from Abu Dhabi. She is an Art and Art History major at NYU Abu Dhabi, class of 2019. She works in different mediums, ranging from drawing and sculpture to fibre art. Her practice explores the themes of identity, language and memory through narrative work as well as abstraction. Her works challenge conventional modes of artistic production and questions the cultural and social constructs of traditional artistic practices. She has exhibited at the 35th Annual Emirates Fine Art Society Exhibition and several student exhibitions.
