Salim Ahmed

Salim Ahmed is a product designer and founder of CardboardWorks. Currently, he works as the Senior Design Coordinator at Tashkeel, where he has been leading the Tanween design programme since 2016. In this role, Salim mentors and supports participants in bringing their design concepts to life, from initial ideas to prototypes and manufacturing limited edition products in the UAE. He provides guidance to emerging designers, helping them develop their creative concepts and refine their skills. Salim holds a B.Des in Interior & Spatial Design from Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland. His work at CardboardWorks combines practicality, unique aesthetics, and a commitment to the environment, incorporating eco-friendly materials with a playful touch inspired by life's simple joys and needs.
