Richard Crooks
In responding to the built environment, Richard constructs photographic collage and ceramic sculpture, in collaboration with Bangladeshi photographer, Sounak Das. Both artists share a fascination with the flyovers and brutalist constructions of Dhaka. Richard lives and works in Ras Al Khaimah. He is currently working as a visual art curriculum specialist for the Ministry of Education. He is a curriculum board advisor for the Indian creative arts charity, Slamoutloud and is a delegate at the Salzburg Global Seminar.
