Ramez Ragab
Ramez Ragab is a self-taught graphic and lettering designer and visual artist based in Cairo. His work explores Arabic typography within contemporary visual culture, spanning posters, visual identities, and calligraphic artworks both personal and commercial.
His practice draws inspiration from Arabic pop art and Islamic art traditions. Ramez is the founder of Be Yourself, a platform that supports Arabic art from the SWANA community, aiming to empower, celebrate, and inspire artists across the Arab world. He also runs Arabic Type Walks, a platform dedicated to collecting, documenting, and preserving Arabic street typography.
