Omaima Hidmi

Omaima Hidmi is a Palestinian artist, born and raised in Dubai. her passion for art continued with her studys, during her days in Zayed University she was exposed to many diverse courses, such as jewelry design, furniture design, textile printing, graphic design and fine art. In most of her work she features elements of her Arabic background and that is easily seen through her continuous use of Arabic calligraphy and Islamic motifs. She was commissioned to do a mural for Ounass Store in Emirates towers, which depicted Dubai’s skyline and the city’s busy lifestyle. Her design was also selected to be done by a group of commissioned artists for Emirates Bank as part of the Camel Caravan. She has initiated the designs for two consecutive years.She is currently working as a consultant at Tashkeel, a reputable Art Organization in Dubai.
