Noura Alserkal

Noura Alserkal is an Emirati interdisciplinary artist. She graduated from the Royal College of Art (RCA) with a Masters of Art in Jewellery and Metal. Noura is driven by excavating the relationships between the known and unknown. She explores her family history and genealogy through archival research and re-engineered narratives. Her practice looks at working with visibility and invisibility, creating unconventional artworks that are ephemeral.

She has won various awards such as the Emirati Futurism Award for Jewellery, the ADMAF Design Fund supported by L’Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels, RCA Swarovski Design Award and the Theo Fennell Special Mention Award. She has exhibited her work in Riyadh, Austria, London and Dubai. Noura has been featured in Louis Vuitton Dubai City Guide. She recently completed the Salama bint Hamdan Emerging Artists Fellowship Cohort 10.
