Mirela Vilaplana

Mireia Vilaplana is a Barcelona born, self-taught photographer living in Dubai. She specialises in black and white conceptual photography and creative portraiture, working with natural light and creative lenses to enhance the mood and story of her images. Through mundane, everyday moments, Mireia constantly incites the viewer on an exploratory journey of their own emotions. Her work has been published in numerous photography magazines and has been displayed in international photography exhibitions such as Chania International Festival and the Houston Centre for Photography, among others.
