Maryam Elattar & Mohamed Elnaggar

Maryam Elattar (ceramic artist) and Mohamed Elnaggar (electrical engineer) share a passion for clay design. Maryam Elattar is an Egyptian ceramic artist and illustrator. She holds a degree in Economics and works in Governance. She has been exploring clay since 2019. Through an amalgamation of clay and her trace illustrations, she established her online brand ‘Trace’ in 2020. Her creations seek to interpret the consciousness of mankind and nature. Maryam has exhibited her ceramic work at Downtown Design 2021 and the UAE Designer Exhibition, Downtown Design 2022.

Mohamed Elnaggar and Egyptian electrical engineer who moved to the UAE 13 years ago. He owns a construction company in Dubai. His interest in clay design was unlocked during a wheel throwing workshop, where he discovered the value of experimentation.
