Mansi Bavishi

Mansi is the founder of the Lippan Art Studio, whose true passion is building bridges between the past and the present. As long as she can remeber, she has been inspired to create art, and from an early age she was exposed to numerous forms of art, which, in turn, fueled her creativity and her vivid imagination. Her interest in vintage and local art forms led her to establish herself as a teacher specializing in Cyanotype Printmaking, Lippan (a local art form from Kutch Gujarat), and Imigano (local art form from Rwanda), bringing her creativity to a wider audience. At the same time, her work attempts to finds beauty in simple subjects as she captures them in a meaningful manners as she uses a variety of materials and incorporate found objects to produce dramatic and unpredictable outcomes.
