Judy Shinnick is a classically trained oil painter, specialising in portraiture and figurative art. Influenced by the old masters, her objective is to record the fleeting moments and characters of everyday life. Through her technically driven work, she seeks to present reality as closely as possible. An increasingly important part of Judy’s practice is teaching others oil painting, watercolours and mixed media to find their artistic voice regardless of experience.
