Hessa Alghandi
Hessa Alghandi is an Emirati interior designer whose passion lies at the intersection of interior architecture, graphic representation, and her Emirati heritage. After graduating with a degree in Interior Design from Zayed University, her aspirations are to intertwine the threads of her Emirati traditions and culture with global societies.
Hessa has collaborated with brands such as Adidas, the 52nd Union Day, Ounass, and Sikka 2024. She is particularly proud of her ongoing research, which encapsulates the memories of her grandmother in Shindagha. This research was showcased as part of an installation at the Sikka Art Fair 2024, WCCS, and a manifested furniture piece exhibited during Design Week as part of the UAE Designers Exhibition 5.0, curated by Omar Al Gurg.
Hessa aims to continue exploring her Emirati heritage through the expression and preservation of memories, whatever form that may take.
