Cheshta Roy

Cheshta Roy Sarkar works reflect a love for pattern, colour, hope, joy and surrounding beauty. Her favourite mediums are acrylic and ink. She also practices mindful and meditative art, hosting workshops in mediative zentangle / mandala art, acrylic and gold leaf painting, texture art, pouring art and painting on bags for organisations such as Majlis Al Amal and Al Jalila Foundation. A participating artist of Ras Al Khaimah Fine Art Festival for five consecutive years, she has participated in exhibitions around the UAE. Cheshta has been awarded Friends of the Foundation by the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation, and recently won the Spirit of UAE Award in Dubai.
