Amnah Jassim

Amnah Jassim is a self-taught artist from Fujairah, UAE. She focuses mainly on the details of nature, people, architecture and wildlife in figurative and abstract styles. She is also has a great interest in designing jewellery and glass art. The mediums used in her work are acrylic, watercolour, pastel, coloured pencils and glass. Her most well-known works are the murals at Fujairah Umbrella Beach and the 12 paintings in ‘The Journey’, a book by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as the glass painting of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Amnah has received awards at various art and jewellery design competitions including the Ebda’a Award 2013 & 2016. She has participated in exhibitions nationally and internationally, including the Netherlands and Italy.
