Alejandra Palos Ortega

Alejandra Palos Ortega was raised in the Baja California Peninsula, Mexico. She grew up immersed in a place of beauty and calmness where she developed a love for natures and its forms. She has travelled to different countries and lived through experiences such as the 2011 earthquake in Japan. This had a major impact on her artistic approach.

Over 20 years she has focused on the arts. She enjoys working with a wide range of materials like old wood, cement, recycled metal and everyday objects. She is passionate about re-using things and she transforms them into artistic compositions.

Alejandra´s sculptures and commissioned art installations have been presented in solo and collective exhibitions in Mexico, Japan, Mauritius, USA, Lebanon, Italy and the UAE. She currently lives in Dubai where she views the world through the matrix of multiculturalism and reflects it in her art pieces.
