Combining theory and practice, leading Arabic calligrapher Wissam Al Shawkat introduces ‘Al Wissam’, a new modern style of Arabic calligraphy. The workshops will begin with an illustrated lecture on the development of this style of Arabic calligraphy, giving an understanding of its historical context and how it was developed into a contemporary font.
Workshop participants will then have the chance to develop their individual skills using ‘Al Wissam’.Opening Hours
