Summer Activity Box: Textile Textures

Tashkeel is pleased to launch our Summer Activity Box, suitable for 8 - 12 year olds. The activity boxes include materials for art activities, supporting materials for a creative home activity, mindfulness prompts and one picture book. The exercises are designed to continue the creative learning that we encourage at Tashkeel from the comfort and safety of your homes.

How do you make functional objects out of the material felt? This activity box will focus on fibers and the objects that can be made using simple techniques and materials. Participants are encouraged to use their hands and get messy as they navigate using the items provided.

Activities in this box include a DIY kit for looms, scrap fabric bowl sculptures, a mindfulness prompt about garments and a picture book.
