Yasmin Naeem
Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, originally from Pakistan, she has continued to experiment with new techniques, styles and materials. She has participated in group shows since 2016, and runs an art studio in Ajman. “I keep learning about myself through this journey, my art brings me clarity… I can work in various mediums, from realistic to abstract style, digital media and sketching. My work is primarily abstraction and abstract Arabic calligraphy. I like to create images that evoke a reaction, a feeling in me. I intend my work to be a visual refuge, a moment of wonder for the viewer.”
