Juveriya Mahadi

Juveriya Mahadi is a Dubai-based visual artist, who lived in Saudi Arabia for more than 15 years before moving to the UAE 9 years ago. She has always enjoyed learning and fearlessly experimenting. In her practice, Juveriya pushes the boundaries of how paper and other ordinary materials can be used in 3D sculptural form. Some pieces are created intuitively, while others are pre-designed. Her goal is to balance an inquisitive spirit, a sense of wonder and an elegant presence. She hopes to inspire people and find new meaning through her imagination and the exploration of materials.
