Jasbir Saggu

Jasbir Saggu is a self-taught artist, working mainly in oil for its exceptional properties, solidity, lustre, depth and transparency. He creates in an uninhibited process using thin, superimposed layers of oil paint with final impasto finishes. The picture thus develops in multiple layers with pentimenti peeking through.
