Ghaleb Hawila

Ghaleb Hawila is an Arabic calligraphy artist from Tyre, Lebanon. His work comes from a profound understanding of Middle Eastern heritage, spiritual paths and the continuous search for origin, cause and effect. His work ‘Nuqta’ was featured in the 8th Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial 2018, and in 2020 at the Institut Francais, Beirut. His street art appears in the UK and Beirut and he has participated in group exhibitions. Ghaleb has exhibited work at the 2018 Urban Art Biennale, Germany and at Dubai Opera in 2021 with the Khawla Art and Culture Foundation. In 2023, he curated a NFT exhibition in Art in Space, Dubai.
