Farah Elmowafy

Farah Elmowafy is a 21-year-old Film and New Media NYU Abu Dhabi graduate from Cairo, Egypt, who grew up with a strong interest in botany and other environmental sciences. Her current works use documentary filmmaking, printmaking and mixed media (including plant co-creation) for installation art. In her practice, she is passionate about research-based and led art that transcends conventional forms and continuously transforms as the research informs the art and the art informs the research.
