Dr. Izmer Bin Ahmed
Dr. Izmer Bin Ahmad teaches at the College of Fine Arts & Design, University of Sharjah and is the Chairperson for the Fine Arts Department. Formally trained as a practicing artist as well as an academic researcher his professional experience encompasses both studio practice and scholarly writing. As an artist, Izmer’s work focuses mainly on drawing and painting, while his academic research interests include contemporary art and materiality in artistic research.
