Collective W.I.N

The project ‘Home Truths’ brings together women from different walks of life, sharing a common thread that ties them together, their strength and identity. The body of work explores narratives, personal essays, introspective experiences that explore the call in a unique way. The work offers five personal stories narrated by women in the form of an audio book, experienced in a personal corner within the exhibit. It creates an immersive experience that draws the visitor into the stories by entering someone’s thoughts without any judgments or assumptions. It allows them to picture and emotionally feel the things the narrators felt. Sometimes even build tension and release tension, as real life includes moments between the things that happen to us. The objective of this on-going project is to trigger dialogue within the community and explore possibilities of further interaction, connecting with the audience, perhaps they might identify themselves with these women or the situations at some point of time while experiencing the installation.
