Ahmed Al Toqi

Ahmed Al Toqi is a professional photographer with numerous international, regional and national awards such as the 2015 National Geographic Prize and the 2019 Al Zubair Photography Competition Prize. Following his passion, Ahmed spent 10 years traveling between the far north and the far south of Oman, documenting the stunning beauty of its mountains, deserts, wadis and beaches and delivering the unmatched nature and life of Oman. His photography documents many places and topics have been featured in The National Museum of Oman and the Oman Across Ages Museum. Ahmed has published a guidebook for photography enthusiasts: ‘Basics of Photography’ explains the main tools such as exposure and composition in addition to the essential rules of portrait photography, landscape photography and others. Ahmed frequently gives theoretical and practical courses and workshops and has trained personnel in various ministries, universities and colleges alongside his participation as a judge in several competitions.
