Methods of the Old Masters

This workshop will be focusing on the use of oil paint and considering the methods of the masters as a focal point. From the materials to use to the handling of oil paint and various techniques, each participant will produce a portrait painting that encompasses the techniques learnt. Throughout the workshop participants will be given both one to one attention and as a group, and you will continue to explore areas such as colour value, hue and saturation and the rules for composition.
