This session will prompt young artists to dive into the fascinating world of charcoal. Led by artist Bassem Boules, participants will discover the expressive potential of charcoal as they learn to manipulate light and shadow, creating depth and dimension in their drawings. Engaging in various exercises, from still life to self-portraits, they will explore observational drawing while exploring value and mark making.
By the end of the workshop, they'll leave with a deeper understanding of the drawing process and sharpened observational drawing skills.
