Handcrafted wooden set of six coasters inspired from the Desert Flower; it is a small spring flower that appears in abundance after rain, forming a thick carpet of green and white on otherwise barren sand. It is called Eremobium - Desert Flower.

The Desert Flower Coasters set consists of six wooden coasters, increasing in size and then decreasing to create a 3D effect. A pattern reflected, rotated and overlaid with the same pattern creates depth in the coasters. The rotation of the pattern in the background and the cut out of separate layers of different depth creates the three-dimensional effect.

Each coaster is laser cut and engraved from 4mm plywood and is lacquered for added durability when stacked on top of each other they form a complete three-dimensional desert flower when stacked on top of one another. There's a specific order to the assemblage which the user can discover and enjoy, but that's not hard to recreate.
