Tashkeel is launching the second edition of its popular Sketchbooks series, with new cover designs by locally-based artists and designers. Each sketchbook features a specially-commissioned artwork that embodies the artists' unique styles and techniques.

Maitha Demithan combines several mediums, including photography, scanography, painting, drawing, and photo transfers in her visual arts practice. Her work demonstrates a profound appreciation of colour, texture, line and shadow while often alluding to the past and expressing the value of family and clan traditions. Maitha is a member of Tashkeel.
