Hind Bin Demaithan Al Qemzi is a full time video composer and visual artist, curator and creative consultant. Having previously held the position of Head Curator of Dubai Design District (d3). She was an Intern at the Disney Research and Development Department, California and an assistant professor at California Institute of the Arts.

Hind recently curated 'Kharareef' part of SIKKA Art Fair 2017, 'The HINDSIGHT project' at Exhaleunlimited Gallery, Los Angles and as a head curator in d3; she was responsible for many exhibitions, projects and site specific installations at the district.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums internationally. Her most recent work includes an interactive video design installation for TedxDubai Salon “Shifting Perceptions” commissioned by Dubai Women Establishment, “w hay hy ilyama’a" part of ‘Emirati Expressions IV: Conventions, a series of video objects “Sadu-Pixel” part of Portrait of A Nation Exhibition commissioned by ADMAF and video design for immersive performances. Primarily in Los Angeles, California where she received her MFA in Theatre and Integrated Media with a concentration in Video for Performance at CalArts (California Institute of the Arts). She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts from Zayed University.
